What's the difference between Colchix and CrowdStrike?

CrowdStrike adds AI data protection to its Falcon endpoint platform: it can rewrite a prompt, but it only logs what comes back, and it needs Falcon on every device. Colchix is AI governance on its own: it masks and restores in the same round trip, finds every AI tool with ARGUS and files the evidence with ATHENA, with no platform to buy first.

Do we need Falcon to use Colchix?

No. Colchix installs on its own, as a light desktop agent and a browser extension, and runs alongside Falcon if you have it.

What happens to AIDR?

CrowdStrike's documentation gives 30 November 2026 as the end of support for AIDR, with Falcon Guardian taking over. Its AI gateway was planned for general availability in the fourth quarter of 2026.
